You can serve with garlic bread and salad. Use pasta of choice - macaroni, rotini, etc. I like the Tri-Color pasta.
You can also add cheese while serving - mozzarella or Parmesan.
Added comment by: Missy Perkins Shaffer, January 2, 2019
I made just a couple of changes. Instead of 3 cups of water, I did 2 cups of water with 1 cup of low sodium beef broth. I also added an extra Tbs. Italian seasoning. I covered halfway through, because it was watery. I then dry baked it at 350°F, covered for an extra 5 minutes.

(You can brown the chicken strips in your at Ninja, 350°F, air fry or oven, following package directions. Brown on both sides. If using the Ninja, remove from the pot and set aside. Take the pot out of the Ninja and let the Ninja cool about 5 minutes.
When cooled, add pasta, Ragu, seasonings, & water into the Ninja. Stir to incorporate.
Select Auto-iQ Quick Meals: Recipe 9 and press the START/START button. (I stirred when 3 minutes was left on the dial since this was a new recipe. I won’t need to stir when making it again. Use your judgement.)
The dial will go to Autowarm.
The sauce was perfect. Stir. Add the chicken at this time. Spoon the pasta over the chicken. Add the mozzarella to the top and melt. With the Autowarm, it took under 5 minutes. It was wonderful!!!

JAMBALAYA*, Layered Meal #15, Photo by: Celia Costa, March 3, 2019
PREP: 20 MINUTES | COOK: 42 MINUTES | MAKES: 6 SERVINGS
INGREDIENTS:
1 ½ pounds uncooked boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut in 1-inch cubes
2 tablespoons Cajun spice, divided
2 tablespoons salt, divided * see added comment
1 tablespoon ground black pepper, divided
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 pound cooked andouille sausage, chopped
1 medium onion, peeled, chopped
2 green bell peppers, chopped
5 cloves garlic, peeled, chopped
1 ½ cups chicken stock
1 can (28 ounces) diced fire-roasted tomatoes
2 cups uncooked jasmine rice
DIRECTIONS:
1. Season chicken with 1 tablespoon Cajun spice, 1 tablespoon salt, and ½ tablespoon black pepper. Set to STOVE TOP HIGH and preheat pot for 5 minutes. Heat oil in pot for 2 minutes, then add chicken, sausage, onion, peppers, and garlic. Cook, uncovered, for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
2. Add the chicken stock, tomatoes, rice, and remaining Cajun spice, salt, and pepper to pot. Stir gently to combine, then cover pot. Select Auto-iQ Layered Bowls: Recipe 15 and press the START/STOP button. Serve immediately.
* Added comment: A member pointed out that she thought the amount of salt may have been a misprint. I agree with her. Two tablespoons, is a lot of salt for a recipe, especially since there is also salt in Cajun seasonings.
I did send this recipe off to the Ninja chefs for clarification, however there are multiple chefs and it is to difficult to get the recipe checked.
Please use the amount of seasonings that feels comfortable to you.

MEAT RAVIOLI WITH MARINARA*, By: Aurelia Dougan McCollom, October 9, 2017- NINJA DELICIOUS DONE EASY COOKBOOK
PREP: 5 MINUTES | COOK: 25 MINUTES | MAKES: 6 SERVINGS
INGREDIENTS:
2 pounds frozen meat ravioli
1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
1 2/3 cups water
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
OPTIONAL:
¼ cup fresh basil, chopped, for serving.
Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving.
DIRECTIONS:
1. Place all ingredients into the pot. Stir to combine, then cover pot.
2. Select Auto-iQ Quick Meals: Recipe 9 and press the START/START button.
3. Stir and serve.
SWAPS:
Cheese ravioli for meat ravioli.
Vodka sauce or Alfredo sauce for marinara sauce.
*Meal need to be cooked a little longer? Simply set to BAKE DRY at 350°F for 5–10 minutes, checking for desired doneness.
*Added comment by: Aurelia Dougan McCollom – I only used a 20 oz. package of ravioli. I also added 24 small partially defrosted fully cooked meatballs to the Ninja before placing the lid.
It was very good, however, because I decreased the amount of ravioli, I should have also decreased the amount of water. I believe the sauce would have been thicker. Next time, I will only use 1 cup of water and see how that works. (Update: 1 cup of water was perfect).
Only using a little over a pound of the ravioli, it made just enough for another dinner or lunch for the two of us.
**Added comment by: Linda Pearl - I substituted spinach ravioli for the meat ravioli. I also added meatballs.

*Meal need to be cooked a little longer? Simply set to BAKE DRY at 350°F for 5–10 minutes, checking for desired doneness.
*Added comment – This meal was very much a success! It could easily double next time, but you need to increase the spice & herb’s. I think the original recipe could also use a bit more. I added water chestnuts and broccoli , and also substituted onion for scallions. I would also suggest breaking the pasta in thirds, and not in half, (to yield better soakage of the pasta in the liquid).

The dial will go to Autowarm.
The sauce was perfect. Stir. Add the chicken at this time. Spoon the pasta over the chicken. Add the mozzarella to the top and melt. With the Autowarm, it took under 5 minutes. It was wonderful!!!

1 ½ pounds uncooked boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut in 1-inch cubes
2 tablespoons Cajun spice, divided
2 tablespoons salt, divided * see added comment
1 tablespoon ground black pepper, divided
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 pound cooked andouille sausage, chopped

Mac & Cheese*, By: Hilario Trevino, February 20, 2019
I came across for a slow cook Mac & Cheese. The recipe called for a 4 hour cook time on low. Well, this Ninja right here had it done in 22 minutes! I used the auto IQ setting 13. I shut if off after 22 minutes, it was done.
Ingredients:
12 ounces of dried elbow Macaroni (I used a 16 oz box of large elbow)
10 oz. bag frozen chopped broccoli
2 cups whole or 2% milk
4 ounces cream cheese- cut into cubes
1½ cups heavy cream
¾ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon dry mustard or 1 teaspoon Dijon or yellow mustard - ( I omitted the mustard)
3½ cups shredded cheese - such as cheddar, Monterey Jack or Colby –(I chose Colby & Monterey Jack)

**I personally think it would be fine with just one type of cheese. I added all but the cheese in the pot to begin. I added the cheese after 14 minutes of cooking and stirred. To finish, the cook time was 22 minutes. The time it took them to clear the pan, 5 minutes.
